Set Up A Smart Coupon Email System Plugin

#1
If you're running a WooCommerce store, then chances are you're always looking for ways to optimise your checkout process and increase conversions. One great way to do this is to offer coupons or discounts to customers who sign up for your email list.

The best way to automate this process is to use a plugin like Smart Coupon Email System for WooCommerce. In just a few clicks, you can set up the plugin and start offering coupons to your customers.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set up the Smart Coupon Email System plugin:

Step 1: Install the Plugin

First thing's first, you need to install the Smart Coupon Email System plugin. You can do this by going to the Plugins page in your WordPress dashboard and clicking "Add New."

Search for "Smart Coupon Email System" in the search bar and install the plugin. Once it's installed, click "Activate."

Step 2: Configure Your Settings

Assuming you have the Smart Coupon Email System Plugin installed and activated, the next step is to configure your settings. To do this, click on the "Settings" link in the left-hand sidebar of your WordPress admin panel. This will take you to the plugin's main settings page.

The first thing you need to do is enter your email address in the "Email Address" field. This is where all of the emails generated by the plugin will be sent. Next, you need to select a "Coupon Type." The options here are "Percentage Off," "Fixed Amount Off," and "Free Shipping." Choose the one that best suits your needs.

Next, you need to decide how many coupons you want to generate. You can do this by entering a number in the "Number of Coupons" field. Finally, you need to select a duration for each coupon. The options here are "1 Day," "3 Days," "7 Days," and "30 Days." Choose the one that best suits your needs.

Once you've entered all of your settings, click on the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page. That's it! You've now successfully configured the Smart Coupon Email System Plugin for WooCommerce.

Step 3: Create Your Coupons

Assuming you have WooCommerce set up on your WordPress site, the next thing you’ll need to do is install and activate the Smart Coupon plugin. For more detailed instructions, see our post on how to install a WordPress plugin.

Once the plugin is activated, head over to WooCommerce → Settings → Smart Coupons to configure the plugin settings.

On the General Settings tab, you can choose whether or not to Enable Smart Coupons, as well as select which user roles will be able to manage coupons. By default, only administrators will have access to coupon management. However, you may want to give access to other roles such as shop manager or customer service representative.

Next, you’ll need to decide how you want coupons to be delivered. The options are via Email or XML Feed. If you choose Email, you’ll need to enter an email address where coupons will be sent. If you choose XML Feed, a URL will be generated that you can provide to customers so they can subscribe to your coupon feed.

Now that you’ve configured the general settings for Smart Coupons, it’s time to start creating some coupons!

Step 4: Set Up Automated Emails

Assuming you have your WooCommerce store set up and running, and you have the Smart Coupon plugin installed and activated, setting up automated emails is a five-step process:

1. Navigate to the "Coupons" page from the WordPress dashboard.

2. Select the "Add New Coupon" button.

3. Enter a coupon code and configure the coupon settings. Be sure to check the "Enable email restrictions" box.

4. Set up the email template for your automated coupon emails. You can find this option under "Email Settings" on the left side of the screen.

5. Configure any additional settings, such as email frequency or start/end date, and then save your changes.

And that's it! You've now successfully set up automated coupon emails for your WooCommerce store using the Smart Coupon plugin.
